We just finished up this spring over conversion on Jeff’s 81 CJ-7. Alan and the boys in the axle shop put together a 35 spline Dana 60 rear axle and a Chevy Dana 44 front axle. Both were narrowed to 58” and stuffed with 4.56 gears and ARB lockers. The front has our WFO high-steer and shackle reversal kit. We had another #caseofthemondays start on Saturday over the weekend. That makes 7 JK boxes to the rescue from WFO this year! This all started with a broken front axle shaft, then winching on the jeep with the tires turned against a rock. This bound the steering and broke the stock JK box right off the frame.
