Sunny update. We received the pathology report for the mass in his back paw and the diagnosis is a spindle cell sarcoma, most consistent with a myxosarcoma. Right now the recommended treatment is amputation to try to stop the cancer from spreading. The hard part is that he is still acting completely normal and happy, so this decision feels overwhelming. If anyone here has experience with tripod cats or feline cancer, I would really appreciate hearing your story. Thank you for caring about Sunny.
