Amanda Knox sat down with Cosmopolitan to discuss her new Hulu show, ‘The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox,’ which fictionalizes her wrongful conviction.

Van Patten tells PEOPLE she remembers worrying, "What would [Knox] think of me, this random actress portraying her in a very traumatic time of her life?"

"The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox" premieres on Hulu on Wednesday, Aug. 20 with its first two episodes and will air weekly until the finale on Oct. 1.
