The South Bend Police Department reports officers responded to a hit-and-run on Friday, May 16, around 5:50 p.m. in the 1100 block of Johnson Street.

On Monday, a Special Judge with the Elkhart County Superior Court ruled Elkhart Councilwoman Tonda Hines broke the law when it came to her uncle's estate.
