Evacuation orders were issued in parts of Riverside County as firefighters continued to battle a 100-acre brush fire in Aguanga on Sunday.

Riverside County firefighters are battling a quickly-growing brush fire burning in the hills near Banning. It was first reported at around 3 p.m. in the area of the Wolfskill Truck Trail, located near Old Banning Idyllwild Road,

The wildfire, in Riverside County, east of Los Angeles, burned more than 600 acres in just a few hours on Monday. About 5,000 people were ordered to leave their homes.

Another fire has erupted in Riverside County on Sunday evening, prompting evacuation orders as it burns over one thousand acres of land right next to the already-raging Mindy Fire, according to officials.
