Burnley have signed defender Kyle Walker from Manchester City on a two-year contract. The right-back completed his medical on Friday and will work again with head coach Scott Parker, who he played alongside at Tottenham Hotspur for two seasons.

Once the electric marauder down the right for Manchester City’s juggernaut, now — at 35 — he arrives at Burnley with more than medals in his luggage. The England international has penned a two-year deal with the Clarets,
