Despite a report suggesting the Trump administration is considering relocating up to 1 million Palestinians from Gaza to Libya, US officials — including the State Department and the US Embassy in Libya — have denied any such plans.

The U.S. embassy in Libya denied on Sunday a report that the U.S. government was working on a plan to relocate Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to Libya. On Thurdsay, NBC News said the Trump administration is working on a plan to permanently relocate as many as one million Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to Libya.

The US Embassy in Libya has strongly denied media reports claiming that Washington is planning to relocate Palestinians from Gaza to Libya. In a statement posted on X, the embassy said, "The report of alleged plans to relocate Gazans to Libya is untrue.
