TOTTENHAM have entered talks with Brentford to sign Bryan Mbeumo, according to reports. The North Londoners announced Bees boss Thomas Frank as Ange Postecoglou’s successor on Thursday.
Mbeumo’s current deal with Brentford runs for another year, with an option for a further 12 months, and it’s understood there is no release clause included in the agreement. Since arriving at Brentford from French side Troyes in 2019, Mbeumo has gone on to score 70 goals in 242 appearances across all competitions.
Julien Laurens believes Bryan Mbeumo will choose to join Tottenham over Man United because of Thomas Frank and the opportunity to play Champions League football.
Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo is Manchester United's current top priority but there is a chance that the Reds may still miss out on him
