Residents in the small city south of Los Angeles had been on edge since Trump returned to office, fearing deportation raids.

Rep. Nanette Barragán, who represents the area in Congress, said ICE was now bringing “their terror tactics and masked agents” to Paramount.

After reviewing video footage of the protest, agents are looking for Elpidio Reyna, 40. “He is considered a fugitive,” said spokeswoman Laura Eimiller.

All traffic has been halted on a portion of the 101 freeway in Los Angeles as protesters walk on the freeway, according to Los Angeles Police Department. Both northbound and southbound lanes have been impacted, officials said. "101 freeway between Alameda and the 110 freeway is closed due to demonstrators walking onto the freeway," police said.
