Wednesday is just the latest rain-impacted game in a season filled with them. Two games in Boston this past weekend were rained out, the Orioles’ fourth and fifth postponements of the season.
The start of the Orioles’ game against the St. Louis Cardinals on Wednesday has been delayed because of rain. The game is now scheduled to start at 7:05 p.m.
BOTTOM LINE: The Baltimore Orioles host the Miami Marlins to open a three-game series. Baltimore has a 42-50 record overall and a 21-23 record in home games. The Orioles have a 28-8 record in games when they out-hit their opponents.
BOSTON – A prolonged series against the Red Sox subjected the Orioles to rain. Lots of rain. There were postponements and delays to start games or to interrupt them.
