The probe against Yoon Suk Yeol's wife comes while he remains in detention. If the arrest warrant is granted, it will be the first time in South Korea that a former president and first lady were both arrested.

The investigation is one of three separate probes launched under Seoul’s new liberal government targeting the presidency of Yoon.
