Celebrities are getting a first glimpse of the annual RHS horticultural event, before the King and Queen tour the show later.

The UK Government has “surrendered” fishing in its new deal with the European Union, Scottish First Minister John Swinney said as he insisted his Government was not consulted about the agreement.

The insects and their larvae, which feed on the foliage of potatoes and other plants, can spread quickly and wipe out crops, the TV presenter said.
