A Michigan prosecutor has filed a terrorism charge against a man accused of stabbing 11 people at a Walmart store.

As of the latest update, 10 people remain hospitalized and are being treated for their injuries, according to officials. The attack began at the Traverse City store around 4:43 p.m. local time on July 26.

Following the stabbing of 11 victims at a Walmart store near Traverse City, Michigan, on Saturday, Grand Traverse County Sheriff Michael Shea said in a press conference that what bystanders did to stop the knife-wielding man was “amazing.”

"When she broke free, he indicated he was still looking for her, and would have kept going if he found her," court documents said.
