The Dallas Mavericks all suddenly have a lot of options after landing the first overall selection in the 2025 NBA Draft.
The team is only in a position to draft that prospect because it was bad. It takes a few years to get good. Keeping a good team together is expensive and not really possible indefinitely in the current CBA environment.
“We’re looking forward to seeing everyone in the building,” said Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer Welts, who on Jan. 1 succeeded the retired Cynt Marshall as CEO. During his 47-year career, Welts also has overseen business operations of the Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors.
In Chime Financial’s IPO prospectus on Tuesday, the company disclosed terms of its sponsorship deal with the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks.
