The U.S. Coast Guard offloaded a record 61,740 pounds of cocaine and 14,400 pounds of marijuana in what officials called the largest drug seizure in its history.

The U.S. Coast Guard offloaded over 38 tons of cocaine and marijuana Monday morning at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Officials said they intercepted enough cocaine to kill every person living in Florida by overdose.

Officials said Coast Guard crews seized over 76,000 pounds of cocaine off the coasts of the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific Ocean. The massive will be offloaded at Port Everglades in South Florida. Officials said this marks the largest drug seizure in the history of the Coast Guard.
