Marietta McNeal Pierce of Hallsboro died Tuesday, Jan. 21, at Columbus Regional Healthcare, Whiteville. She was 82. A native of Savannah, Georgia, Pierce moved to New York City as a teen, and lived in Maryland for a time before she moved with her husband to his home town, Hallsboro, in 1983.
