Stephen Colbert kicked off his 11th and final season of “The Late Show” on Tuesday by welcoming back his most frequently booked guest, the “Last Week Tonight” host John Oliver. It was his 21st appearance, Colbert informed him.

First up on his guest list is John Oliver, who, like Colbert, is a former correspondent on The Daily Show. The British-born comedian is also one of the many who have voiced support for Colbert in the wake of the death of the long-running Late Show franchise.

Beyond this, neither Colbert nor Oliver discussed the plight of late night TV in the US during their chat. Instead, it was mostly dominated by Oliver’s obsession with the Bravo
