The Indianapolis Colts made six roster moves on Monday, including signing Xavien Howard and placing a promising rookie on IR.

Four-time Pro Bowl cornerback Xavien Howard has agreed to a contract with the Indianapolis Colts, agent David Canter told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

To supplement the depth chart, Indy signed veteran cornerback Xavien Howard to a one-year deal worth up to $5 million, according to multiple reports. Howard is 32 years old and hasn’t played in an NFL game in over two seasons. But current Colts defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo knows exactly what Howard is going to bring to Indianapolis.

Jaylon Jones and JuJu Brents have missed most of training camp with hamstring injuries. Kenny Moore has a knee injury, Johnathan Edwards left Saturday's game with a concussion, and Justin Walley is on IR due to an ACL injury.
