The Dallas Stars’ pursuit of a second Stanley Cup took another step forward on Sunday when they defeated the Winnipeg Jets 5-2. Dallas now leads the Jets two games to one in the second round of the playoffs. Sunday’s win was not without some drama though, with a third period score by the Stars’ Alexander Petrovic.

The Jets let a close game slip away thanks in part to a kicked puck that went in and held up as the game-winning goal.

This is one of the few "early" Western Conference games on the schedule this postseason. They will drop the puck at 4:30 p.m. EDT.
