Peacemaker Season 2 is almost here and if there's any confusion, here is the release date and time for the upcoming season.

James Gunn created the American superhero TV show Peacemaker for HBO Max. It is a spin-off of The Suicide Squad (2021) and centers on John Cena’s character Chris Smith, also referred to as Peacemaker.

John Economos (Steve Agee) remains employed, but he hates himself somehow even more than he already did. Worse, Flag Sr. has saddled him with a minder, Langston Fleury (Tim Meadows), who is a dangerous combination of high confidence, marginal emotional intelligence and “bird-blindness.”

Like the first season, Peacemaker Season 2 will have eight episodes. James Gunn has directed three of them: episodes 1, 6, and 8.

The role of Christopher Smith/Peacemaker’s (John Cena) BFF and sidekick was originally played by Chris Conrad, who is probably best-known as Johnny Cage in 1997 film Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. Cena, 48, who recently revealed his plans to retire from professional wrestling, portrays the titular character of the HBO series. He first appeared as Chris Smith in Gunn's 2021 film, Suicide Squad. Gunn reportedly wrote the script for the series while filming the movie.
