Kelly Clarkson has cancelled a performance at the Band Together Texas benefit concert in the wake of her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock's death.

The singer was scheduled to appear at Miranda Lambert and Parker McCollum's Band Together Texas event taking place on Sunday to support those affected by the floods in July. However, Clarkson has canceled as a result of Blackstock's death last week, according to a since-expired Instagram Stories post from the concert's organizers.

The Because of You hitmaker, who shares two children with the late talent manager, will no longer perform at Band Together Texas, a concert to support those affected by July's devastating floods, on Sunday 17 August.
