The recall affects more than 62,000 4500/5500/6500 trucks. They vehicles are being recalled because a brake fluid leak could trigger a fire.

GM recalls 62,500 Chevrolet Silverados over brake fire risk, urges owners to park outside

The recall affects certain 2019-2024 Chevrolet Silverado 4500HD, 5500HD and 6500HD medium-duty vehicles. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said the brake pressure sensor assembly may leak brake fluid into the brake pressure switch, causing an electrical short circuit.
