Certainly, it was an All-Star day for Carlos Rodón. Hours after it was announced that he would replace teammate Max Fried in the All-Star Game in Atlanta, the lefty had his best start as a Yankee to date.

Max Fried is scheduled to start Saturday and won't be available to pitch Tuesday, although he'll be in Atlanta.

With Aaron Judge, Jazz Chisholm Jr. and Max Fried already on the American League roster, Carlos Rodón was added on Friday. Rodón is actually taking the place of Fried on the active roster.
