Karen Read’s criminal attorney, Alan Jackson announced he’ll be joining her defense team in the wrongful death lawsuit brought by late Boston Police Officer John O’Keefe’s family.

Read still faces a wrongful death suit from O'Keefe's family. Her lawyers filed a motion in Plymouth Superior Court, where the lawsuit was filed last year, to have it thrown out.
