The US Coast Guard seized over 75,000 pounds of illegal drugs from 19 vessels this summer, resulting in the largest-ever offload of narcotics worth nearly half a billion dollars.

The massive stash was enough “to fatally overdose the entire population of the state of Florida,” officials said.
