WATCH: Police chief, mayor talk about Minneapolis church shooting that killed 2 children
MINNEAPOLIS — A news conference is planned for 10:30 a.m. after police responded to reports of a shooter at a church and school in south Minneapolis. In a press release, Minneapolis officials said there is no active threat at Church of the Annunciation, and "the shooter is contained." Emergency personnel arrived on scene to help victims.
Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara is set to provide an update on the latest details of the investigation into a deadly shooting at a southwest Minneapolis Catholic school on Wednesday.
Its new home is 5km (3 miles) from the original site in the town of Kiruna, where it had been at risk from ground subsidence.
