The Fish and Boat Commission will stock more than 100,000 hatchery-raised trout in more than 100 streams and lakes across Pa.

Volunteers working with the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission gathered Friday morning to stock several miles of the Manada Creek in Dauphin County with trout ahead of fishing season.

The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission plans to stock 3.2 million trout in waterways across the state, including Manada Creek in Dauphin County.

DAUPHIN AND LEBANON COUNTIES, Pa. (WHTM) — Today volunteers joined the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission to help stock hundreds of trout into local waterways.

The statewide start time for the opening day of trout fishing season is 8 a.m. And the Stony Creek Anglers, according to Wood, made sure local fishermen won’t be disappointed.
