Isabella Wells has been going to the Marion County Fair since she was young. This year she was looking forward to the rodeo and bull riding.

The Marion County Fair, celebrating its 175th anniversary, draws crowds despite the heat. New attractions this year include Cracker Jack the Clown and a mullet contest.

It named many of Marion's annual gatherings such as the Popcorn Festival, Marion County Fair and the Rockin’ Poppin’ New Year’s Eve Celebration as reasons to live in Marion.
