It was an active weather weekend as storms hit the water hard, leaving major damage behind at Katherine Landing on Lake Mohave.

Laureen, my lovely wife, and I decided recently to boat up to Cottonwood Cove Resort and Marina on Lake Mohave, approximately 35 miles north of Davis Dam on the Nevada side of the lake.

Lake Mead Mohave Adventures has a fleet of over 50 boats. 35 of them are houseboats and another 20 are smaller recreational boats.

On Wednesday, Lake Mead Mohave Adventures announced they have signed a new 25-year lease to continue operating Cottonwood Cove Resort & Marina.

The pontoon boat rental from Lake Mead Mohave Adventures can accommodate up to 12 guests and includes a sundeck, waterslide, grill and wet bar.
