More human remains have been found in the receding waters of Lake Mead, authorities announced Saturday.

Authorities say the human remains found along a popular recreation site at Lake Mead nearly four decades ago are those of a woman who vanished from San Diego.

California woman identified 40 years after her body was found near Lake Mead Jane Doe’s remains were first found on May 16, 1987, around the Bonelli Landing at Lake Mead.
