For 13 years, Joanne Lepore has fallen asleep to the sound of Route 30 traffic buzzing past the front of her home. Early Friday morning Lepore awoke to the sound of traffic passing behind her home.
The new westbound bypass at routes 30 and 41 in Gap opened to traffic Thursday night, according to PennDOT. The two-lane bypass runs parallel to the north of Route 30 between routes 41 and 772.
