The business unit of FedEx Logistics is looking to hire up to 120 positions immediately in Indianapolis. They plan to hold a two day open hiring event to begin filling those positions.
The company is holding job fairs at suburban locations Thursday ahead of the holiday rush season. The events are in Oakbrook Terrace, Arlington Heights and Bedford Park.
Workers can expect at least $17 per hour at many peak season jobs at FedEx, UPS and Amazon, far higher than in the past.
FedEx is hiring about 900 full-time and part-time employees in the next few weeks ahead of opening a new state-of-the-art, regional sortation facility in St. Lucie County.
