Reigning Olympic champion Christian Reitz of Germany claimed gold in the men's 25 metre rapid fire pistol at the International Shooting Sport Federation Rifle and Pistol World Cup in Rio de Janeiro.

RIO DE JANEIRO (Reuters) - Germany clinched its third Olympic shooting title in as many days on Saturday as police officer Christian Reitz won the gold medal in the 25 metre rapid fire pistol event.

The German team which had Rio Olympic champion Christian Reitz, besides Geis Oliver and Peter Florian, proved superior to the Indian trio of Gurpreet Singh, Anish Bhanwala and Bhavesh Shekhawat.
