BOISE, Idaho — The Boise Airport (BOI) broke ground on a new rental car facility on Tuesday, Feb. 27, in hopes of keeping up with travel demands.
The Boise Airport expects to break ground in the spring on the $66 million Phase 1 plan to upgrade the rental car facilities at the airport.
Boise Airport in ID plans to build $100 million car-rental center starting in 2023, paid with $6 daily “customer facility charge” on vehicle leasing contracts.
Construction is underway for both of the Boise Airport's new parking garages. A new rental car garage, service lobby and new concourse are also planned, but construction is yet to begin.
