There was a lot of news with the Raiders on Monday, and we might not be done talking about them prior to Week 1. Amari Cooper signed a one-year deal with Las Vegas, while the NFL Network reported that Jakobi Meyers has requested a trade because he's unhappy with his contract.

Cooper, 31, did not have a banner 2024 season. He spent his first six games with the Cleveland Browns, catching just 24 passes for 250 yards and two scores before being traded to the Buffalo Bills alongside a 2025 sixth-round draft pick for a 2025 third-rounder and a 2026 seventh-rounder.

The move comes after Raiders veteran wideout Jakobi Meyers requested a trade during a contract dispute, per an ESPN source. The 28-year-old wide receiver is seeking a new contract as he enters the final year of his current deal, which doesn’t have any guaranteed money remaining.
