The man accused of stalking tennis player Emma Raducanu tried to obtain tickets to Wimbledon but was blocked by the All England Club’s security system, British media reported Tuesday.

Raducanu was playing her first-round match against Karolina Muchova when she spotted the stalker in the crowd. The Brit halted the match and asked the chair umpire to remove the man from the court, immediately triggering the WTA’s safety protocols.

Raducanu was reduced to tears mid-match in Dubai in February, having been stopped by the man at a coffee shop the previous day.
