Prince William was spotted enjoying a tipple with some of his fellow Aston Villa fans in a Birmingham Wetherspoons.

Prince William headed to The London and North Western branch of Wetherspoons in Birmingham New Street station this afternoon after joining a conference with paramedics in Birmingham

The future King, 42, was spotted sitting at the pub enjoying a Bulmers cider at Birmingham New Street station with fellow fans just hours before Aston Villa took to the pitch against Everton. After buying a round of beers for eight football fans, William spent half an hour chatting to them before catching a train back to London.

One supporter said the future king was a "lovely guy" and "proper down to earth" when they chatted in the West Midlands pub for 30 minutes before tonight's game.
