Following practice on Saturday, Washington Commanders coach Dan Quinn reflected on Terry McLaurin's trade request and the minimal impact its had on the team.

Last year, McLaurin was rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels ' favorite target in a revamped offense. McLaurin reeled in 82 of his 117 targets for 1,096 yards and 13 touchdowns, which were both career highs. That helped the Commanders go from 4-13 to 12-5 in just one year.

McLaurin, who turns 30 in September, is entering the final season of a three-year, $68.4 million deal. On the wide receiver front, superstar Ja'Marr Chase signed a four-year, $161 million extension with the Cincinnati Bengals in March, while Garrett Wilson signed a four-year, $130 million extension with the New York Jets in July.
