Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren make the most of 'The Thursday Murder Club,' Netflix amiable but treacly adaptation of Richard Osman's mystery bestseller.

Brosnan, best known for taking on the role of James Bond, also spoke to the BBC about who will take on the role of 007 next. He says his advice to whoever takes it on would be to "get a good lawyer" and cast a very close eye over their contract as "it's full of surprises".

The Thursday Murder Club director Chris Columbus was keen for screenwriter Katy Brand to take the lead on adapting Osman's novel. On what made her the perfect choice, he said: "Katy is one of the sharpest, most perceptive people I’ve ever met.
