Either Amanda Anisimova or Iga Swiatek will leave the All England Club's grass courts as Wimbledon's eighth consecutive first-time women's champion.

Eighth seed Iga Swiatek steamrolled her way into the WTA Wimbledon 2025 finals after overwhelming Belinda Bencic 6‑2, 6‑0 in the semi-finals at Centre Court, All England Club, on Thursday, 10 July. The Polish star dropped just two games in the match,

Swiatek defeated Liudmila Samsonova in the quarterfinals, leading her to the semifinals, 6-2, 7-5. She currently ranks fourth in the women's singles. Meanwhile, Bencic defeated Mirra Andreeva by winning both tie breaks to earn her spot against Swiatek. She now ranks 35th in the women's singles.
