The largest ever U.S. Coast Guard drug offload involving more than 76,000 pounds was taking place at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale on Monday. The drugs, over 38 tons of cocaine and marijuana, were seized during 19 different interdictions in the Caribbean Sea and eastern Pacific Ocean, officials said.

The Coast Guard offloaded a record-breaking haul with an estimated worth of nearly $500 million. Over the course of two months, officials say they seized more than 61,000 pounds of cocaine. Nicole Sganga has details.
