The Denver Nuggets are moving ahead with Jonas Valanciunas trade despite the Lithuanian's reported agreement with Panathinaikos.

Jonas Valanciunas is looking to return to Europe instead of staying with the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets recently agreed to send Dario Saric to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Valanciunas, which became official on Sunday.

The Denver Nuggets and Jonas Valanciunas are about to be locked in a staredown. Denver agreed to a trade for Valanciunas, the veteran center, earlier this week. Then reports came out that Valanciunas had been offered a multi-year contract by Greek powerhouse Panathinaikos.
