Jeep Weekend is here and Galveston County Sheriff Jimmy Fullen has a new plan to control crowds of partiers. Find updates from the beach here.

Sheriff Fullen established a 6.2-mile stretch of Crystal Beach from Stingaree Road to Honeysuckle Lane as a traffic-controlled zone, where stopping, standing, parking, camping and golf carts are prohibited. He also stationed more than 400 officers from 14 law enforcement agencies around the peninsula to enforce these new rules.
