The Miami Dolphins wasted no time finding a roster replacement for Alexander Mattison, the running back who underwent season-ending neck surgery after being injured against the Chicago Bears. The Dolphins reportedly are adding Aaron Shampklin, a 25-year-old who played sparingly for the Pittsburgh Steelers last season.

Miami Dolphins' signed former Pittsburgh Steelers' running back Aaron Shampklin and NFL Veteran Mike Boone on Monday after veteran back Alexander Mattison had season-ending neck surgery.

The Dolphins are adding running back Aaron Shampklin to their roster. Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that the team will sign Shampklin after working him out on Monday. They also worked out former Packers and Saints running back Jamaal Williams.
